Minnehaha Arborcare is owned and operated by Wesley Smestad. Wesley has worked in the tree care industry since 2011, with experience in tree preservation, pruning, removals, planting, diagnostics, and disease treatment. He has also worked as a trainer of other arborists and regularly speaks at industry conferences on subjects such as safety and climbing techniques. Wesley is an ISA certified arborist and the 2026 Champion at the Minnesota Tree Climbing Championship. He is passionate about trees and loves to educate homeowners as well as other arborists on how to keep trees healthy and beautiful.
