Full Crown Cleaning --- Full crown cleaning consists of removing all dead wood down to a certain diameter (1/2", 1", 2"). We remove any broken branches, diseased limbs or conflicting limbs. Full crown cleans can also incorporate clearing your roof, power lines or other objects by a certain amount or lifting the canopy to a certain height. Partial Crown Clean ---Partial crown cleans are similar to Full Crown Cleans but it is for a certain portion of the tree. Ex. Lower half of the tree, Client's side, or Neighbor's side Custom Prune ---A custom prune is when you have only certain specific objectives. For example you only want your power lines cleared or the canopy raised. Structural Pruning --Structural pruning is a type of pruning that is done to younger trees suppressing or eliminating weakly attached branches to promote a single dominate leader and evenly spaced branching. This creates a more stable mature tree that will cost you less in the long term, reducing the likely hood of limb failure or large limb removal later. Reduction Pruning ---Reduction pruning is a type of pruning that reduces the length or weight of a particular branch. Some branches may have grown too long or have been overly pruned and extended with most of the foliage at the end. This is called a lions tail in arboriculture. These limbs are prone to failure during higher winds or loading events. We will climb out to the end of the limb and make several smaller cuts to reduce the weight and length. The further out the cuts the more torque is reduced at the union promoting a more stable tree.
